Linkspamming

What is Linkspamming ?

Linkspamming is a black hat SEO practice of posting links anywhere available on the Internet, to promote a black hat website therefore giving the website false link popularity. Search engines base the importance of a website on the quantity and quality (ranking of those pages which host the links) of incoming links to that website. However in most cases the black hat SEO webmasters' website is too spammy that any legitimate directories will not place the link in their listings. Also other white hat SEO webmasters will not want to exchange links. So the black hat SEO webmaster must look elsewhere and he does this by finding vulnerable places on the Internet where a link can be posted instantly.

The black hat SEO webmaster will not care where or how he can get a link to his website, his aim is to cheat, to trick, to be deceitful and in many cases downright dishonest in order to get incoming links to his website.

There are a number of ways this can be done, such as putting links in guestbooks, forums and blogs or cheating on backlinks by using black hat SEO.

The less experienced black hat SEO webmasters may be placing links to their site at any location available, however the more elite black hat SEO webmasters are more clued up. Posting a link just about anywhere can draw attention to your website because of search engine algorithms, so the elite webmaster must first consider if this is a safe place to post the link. Also in many instances it could be a complete waste of time getting a link on that page anyway, because of the no follow tag, which most forums use to tell the search engines not to spider a link, however there is a way round this, YES there is a way to get one way links from high ranking forums that use the no follow tag !

So there are a number of things that need to be taken into consideration before you just start searching for forums and guestbooks and posting your links sporadically. Because this kind of practise will lead your website to be banned or penalized.

The Black Hat SEO eBook details exactly how to post your links perfectly, where to post them and how to find high ranking pages that are vulnerable to linkspamming.
